NUTS & BOLTS - Explore, Explain and Expand
Research skills help students learn more - understand better - make better decisions - make informed choices - develop
leadership. St. Willibrord students and teachers take research skills very seriously.
MAKERS MOVEMENT
We are building a 'Do It Yourself' mindset at SWIS. We are creating student thinkers, tinkerers, inventors, makers and innovators.
CELESTIA
Students learn about the solar system by creating their own models.
They gain not only knowledge, but experientially learn about creation and the universe.
Art Exhibition
Over 400+ works of art, craft and digital media are put on show at the SWIS Art Festival.
Drama Show
What is life without a little bit of drama! Dramatics build skills in communication, visualisation,
confidence and self esteem. At SWIS students are trained to write their own plays
and perform on stage to over 500 people.
Fahrenheit, Nallasopara’s biggest school dance event has been running for at least 10 years. The event provides SWIS students with a GRAND STAGE to perform before an audience of thousands. Last year saw 3000+ visitors. The prestigious Fahrenheit AWARD is given to the best. Trainers for SWIS Fahrenheit are from Boogie Woogie and preparations go on for over a month. SWIS children are not just students but artists.
Spotlight is the SWIS Annual Day for students from preschool to 10th standard. Each spotlight event gives students a platform to perform and exhibit their skills in front of a secure and internal audience. Whilst Fahrenheit is a larger external event, Spotlight provides an internal platform.
St. Willibrord is the only school in Nallasopara, Vasai and Virar to have its own football turf. SWIS football teams represent the school in many reputed football tournaments in the district. SWIS has its own C Licensed Football Coach, who trains up aspiring footballers to play for inter-school and inter-state competitions, and aims to represent the school in national tournaments.
Skating is a popular sport at St. Willibrords. The SWIS arena is converted to a skating zone during times of practice. The sport is available for all age groups to participate and compete.

Daring, confident and smart. SWIS students, as part of their adventure challenges, are trained to be daring and confident in the face of challenge. Mountain trekking and river crossing are part of the adventures provided. These help children develop a love for nature and experience the outdoors.
Culture development - SWIS students experience yearly local and national trips. Students travel to Lonavala during their short trip, and all the way to Kerala for their annual trip. Students are exposed to various cultural sensitivities and a variety of people. These SWIS trips become a powerful platform for students to see the world up close and personal.
Experiential Learning. SWIS provides a varied set of tours, from study trips, industry trips to exploratory tours. Each of these trips enrich students with academic and application-based experiences.
