Mr. Willibrord George has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Education. He specializes in scientific teaching methodologies and focuses teacher, parent and student development. He is passionate about transforming schools and has visited schools in China, Singapore, Thailand, Bahrain, United Kingdom and the United States of America. Willibrord is a dedicated life-long learner and an adventure enthusiast with a keen eye for photography. He continues to chart the strategic course and development of SWIS.
Mrs. Rhea Willibrord
Director – Principal
Rhea Willibrord has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Education from the Roehampton University, UK where she completed her thesis on school leadership and management. She is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming by NFNLP-USA, Toa of Facilitation, Transactional Analysis, Enneagram and Circle Time under the direct guidance of Jenny Mosley – UK.
Rhea is a young, dynamic school leader with a passion for dance and dramatics. Her interests include travelling, trekking, adventure activities and photography. She loves interacting with children and believes in child-focused progressive educational philosophies. Rhea manages for the day to day running of the school; making it the efficient and enjoyable learning organization that it is.
Mrs. Mary George
Trustee and School Leadership Mentor
With over 45 years of experience Mary George has worked with students, teachers and parents in Rome, Philippines, USA and India. She has bachelor’s degree in education from Salve Regina College, Rhode Island, USA, and an international Diploma in Montessori awarded by Prof. Justin of the association of Montessori International (AMI) She has had the privilege of being a personal student of the founder of the Montessori method, Maria Montessori. Mary George has developed, written and published the Willy Kids ‘WOW series’ pre-school curriculum that has successfully trainedover 10,000 students. Mary George is a trustee and school leadership mentor at SWIS. She brings with her the wisdom, sensitivity and love needed for the school to be an ideal learning environment.
Ms. Joy Townsend
Director – Academic Innovation
Ms. Joy Townsend, graduated with a BEd (Hons) and was later awarded a PGCAE in special educational needs from King Alfred’s College, University of Southampton, UK. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education from Winchester University, UK. As co-founder, Director and CEO of Destiny Education, she has trained over 10,000 teachers in hundreds of schools all over India. She has over a decade of experience in the Indian education system as well as international experience. She has worked with several international schools to strengthen their processes and curriculum. She is the author of a several high-quality books and a phonics curriculum for pre-primary and primary children. As Director of Academic Innovation at SWIS, Ms. Joy leads the curriculum development process for primary and pre-primary education. She also conducts training for the teachers, develops student assessment strategies and contributes to the overall academic development of SWIS.
School eader – Vice Principal (SWIS – NSP)
A passionate school leader with over 21 years experience in teaching and learning, Beena Menon brings to the team tremendous knowledge and skill to the school academic team. In her role as the Vice Principal od St.Willibrords – Nallasopara, Mrs Menon leads over 100 teachers and staff on the day to day operations of the school. Being certified in school quality management by NABET, TOA of Facilitation, Multiple Intelligence Theory and the like she brings innovation and fervour to the school.
School Leader – Preprimary
Zermin leads the PrePrimary section under the brand WILLY KIDS. Currently pursuing her Masters in Education her brings in tremendous energy , enthusiasm and creativity to the school. She leads teachers in exploratory training workshops, builds curriculum and leads parents workshops. Zermin loves kids and does everything to make their foundational years at school an enjoyable and formative experience.
