The pre-primary learning spaces at SWIS have been thoughtfully designed to support youthful adventure, dramatics, free and structured play, exploration and enjoyment. Our classrooms are large and well ventilated to facilitate comfortable learning. They are equipped with a wide range of learning resources enabling the development of motor skills, communication skills and collaboration as well as mathematical, artistic and linguistic skills.
The flooring, wall surfaces and furniture in our classrooms are all child friendly and safe. The furniture is flexible to allow for various learning scenarios. An exclusive outdoor area is fenced off, to allow young children to play in safely.
A high adult to student ratio assures increased student interaction and individual learning. Student evaluation a continuous process linked to specific learning goals. Pre-primary students are not subjected to exams. Homework assigned to students is minimal, and usually consists of reading practice or a parent-child collaborative activity.
