We at St. Willibrord International School take great pride in a customised curriculum that accommodates local needs as well as international standards. We looked beyond merely completing the syllabus, to build a curriculum that develops knowledge, skills and concepts while taking into account earlier learning. Our curriculum not only details what needs to be learnt, but also describes how learning should ideally occur. SWIS promotes hands-on, experimental, enquiry-based learning and our curriculum reflects this. Several subjects are integrated to facilitate cross-referencing, contextual relevance and practicality. Our unique blend of Indian and international content is designed by experts.
Study materials consist of a mixture of carefully chosen text books, workbooks, reading books and worksheets.
Our pre-primary curriculum has been designed in house, based on years of experience and expertise. It is based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum guidance, part of the Cambridge International Education provision. Our secondary curriculum is based on the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum. These curricula lead to IGCSE exams at Std. 10 and A Level exams at Std. 12. The aforementioned exam boards are recognised by universities in India and around the world. Our curricula comply with with the National Council of Education, Training and Research (NCERT), Delhi, which lays down the guidelines for all Indian examination boards.
