ANALYTICAL SKILLS

SLPM is India’s first ‘student led parent meet’. After every exam, SWIS students (from Std 5) analyse their exam papers and answer sheets using an in-house command sheet. Based on their analysis, students present this academic data and their analysis to their parents, then chart out their learning and improvement areas. Secondly based on the data derived from this analysis, students are grouped into different peer learning groups where they can avail a highly enriching platform to learn from each other. SWIS has trained over 20 schools across India and over 10000 students are now experiencing this breakthrough.

PLANNING SKILLS

The DDA planner is an initiative designed to help improve children's planning skills. Every student in SWIS (from Std 5) attends a daily strategy period of 20 mins. Students learn to plan, prioritise and manage their personal, financial and academic goals. Over 5 years students become masters of planning and prioritising skills. This aims to give each SWIS student a leading edge over others during their further studies, competitive exams and preparation for job placements.

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT

Project RISE - An essential component, making Mr Willibrord George India’s most innovative urban school leader in 2017 and recognised by the World Education Summit in 2015. RISE is India’s first teacher-learner observation and personal coaching system, part of a school strengthening system. Project RISE is a human digital ecosystem with an online web based analytics engine and an android based mobile application. Over 400 educators and institutions have benefited from this project.

CAREER EXPOSURE SKILLS

Bigger exposure better choosing. Project Race exposes the students with specific career skills such as fashion designing and coding at a very young age so as to help them get a closer and deeper view of the different streams. The project enables them to identify where their interest lies and give them an edge above the others in this competitive world.

ENGLISH CENTRIC LEARNING

The Read For Change program encourages children to develop a love for reading, improved vocabulary and a greater passion for knowledge. Children at SWIS have access to over 2000 books. RFC engages over 1000 students every week in its reading program with each child reading over 30 books per year.

ENGLISH CENTRIC LEARNING

The Write For Change program aims to develop the art of expressive writing in children. Time is regularly scheduled for students to ideate, draft and publish numerous original stories throughout the year. Our British faculty ensure that this is planned to international standards. Every SWIS student is an author!
